Hi everyone!
It has been a MINUTE since I have written on here. Happy to be back! Some updates in my life: I have been officially teaching pilates for a year, hit 42k on Tiktok and 7k on Insta! It is warming up again in AZ (of course haha) and the sun is rising at 6am now! I am looking into getting more pilates certifications… (we will see!) and have a lot of exciting trips planned (Colorado next month!)
I thought a great way to kickstart my newsletter again would be to speak on my current health/wellness essentials. I know with social media it is SO hard to tune out the noise and know what actually works. Lately I have felt so so good and I would love to share what I have been focusing on!
WORKOUTS
For my workouts, I haven’t been going too crazy! If you know me, in the past I have been one to go to extremes. I’ve run for an hour every other day, lifted for 2+ hrs in the gym, incline walked excessively, etc… I’ve been there and done it all. In turn, I struggle with PCOS and hormonal issues. So currently what I’ve been doing to feel healthy but not over do it:
-Pilates 3x a week (reformer or mat)
-Strength training 2-3x a week (depending on how I feel/my cycle)
-Incline walking 4-5x a week (incline and speed depending on how I feel!)
-Stretching daily (5-10 mins)
The priorities are pilates and strength training, incline walking is a plus! Every week looks different but this is a pretty typical week for me. I have found getting steps in, and working on building muscle makes me feel my best while being low impact exercise.
NUTRITION
As for my nutrition recently, I have felt SO inspired! I have been creating in the kitchen and having so much fun with my food. I can thank this to the SoulSyncBody app by Sanne Vloet (not sponsored at all, I wish). I used to make a lot of the same meals (I even tried eating the same thing everyday like Bryan Johnson… do not recommend). But now I have been following her app with guided recipes and it has been a game changer. It has so many recipes for each meal, and then it automatically creates a shopping list based on the meals you choose!
Some of my recent favorite breakfasts:
-Lazy Girl 2 Min Pancake bowl
-Protein pancakes (not soulsyncbody but love these)
-Carrot cake overnight oats
-Protein yogurt bowl (also not SSB, just Ritual protein mixed w/ greek yogurt!)
I do not feel like I restrict at ALL, yet I eat such healthy foods daily. I had to mention it, but my favorite part of my day is my Cauliflower Ice Cream. I kid you not I eat this every single day and never get tired of it. Evan and I figured out how to turn cauliflower (one of the healthiest things) into ICE CREAM and it tastes so legitimate. Not to mention it’s roughly 156 cals and 29g protein… Like what?
Some of my fav cauliflower ice cream flavors:
-Chocolate Espresso (Using water processed decaf coffee)
-Cherry (almond extract + frozen dark cherries)
-Pistachio (pistachio creamer + spirulina)
-Peanut Butter Banana (organic pb fit powder + ½ banana)
-Strawberry
-Cinnamon sugar (coconut sugar/cinnamon swirled in)
*I love putting Three Wishes cereal on top for a crunch or Simple Mills Cookies!
Lazy Girl 2 Min Pancake bowl (topped with cashew butter, banana, blackberries, chia seeds, walnuts, cinnamon, greek yogurt, and honey)
BALANCE
Lately I have been putting a huge emphasis on balance. Just trying to enjoy life! Yes, health is so important. But so is having fun!! Getting gelato or a burger every now and then. I will have a glass of wine on occasion. Because what is life without balance? Remember to enjoy yourself!!

Allora Gelato: The BEST gelato in AZ
That’s all for this week, hope this inspired or helped you!! See you next time 💕
